Two Characters that JUST missed the final roster.

Well, if you haven’t already, read Homelessvagrant’s post on characters that just missed being in the game. Note that was just “in” the game. No one said any of those would have been playable. They could have been Pokéball Pokémon, Assist Trophies, NPCs, Stickers, and/or Trophies for all we know, if they aren’t already are one of those. Now, some major spoilers are coming. So if you don’t want spoilers on the roster (who didn’t make the cut), stop reading NOW!

A look at Final Destination

With the latest stage update from the dojo we get a showing of the new Final Destination stage. The biggest thing of intrest with this stage is the fact that it is playable from the start (the unlockable/starters in this game are quite odd) and one of it’s new songs (listen to it here) anyways with that here’s Final Destination.

this video is basically a player going through basic brawl from the selecting his character to choosing a stage. Some neat info is presented in this video and it seems that we may be getting more past stages as unlockables along with a wealth of new stages.\

Wifi lag issues? I don’t think so!

one of the biggest question asked by smash fans has been to what degree of lag would players have to face on wifi. With today’s latest update we now all know how much lag we can expect (none!) or at least from Kyoto to Tokyo we can expect none.

Not as Mushroomy as it use to be.

Now here’ a interesting update. Today Sakurai gave us a new stage, the mushroomy kingdom, and while it may not seem odd at first some thing mentioned may suprise you. Lets just say it isn’t the Mushroom Kingdom you know and love.

The basics of this update are that the menu above has challenges for you to accomplish. After beating a challenge the box breaks to reveal the magic and wonder on the inside.

Speed control is important with this Final Smash.

Porky’s Theme revealed to be in brawl.

along with the announced Metroid Stage Frigate Operation, came a Mother music sample. The song is Porky’s Theme and can be listened in it here

 It’s a pretty cool addition to brawl and really is a good representation of Mother. It is probably true that you have to have played or know about Mother 3 before fully appreciating this work.  As Sakurai states the song usually occured when the pig army arrived.
